The following error can be received when specifying the INTERVAL= option in the XAXIS, YAXIS, XAXIS2, or YAXIS2 statement in PROC SGPLOT:
ERROR 772-580: Syntax error: expecting a constant or a dynamic.
This is most likely to occur when working with date, datetime, or time values and specifying a value for the INTERVAL= option that is longer than four characters (for example, MONTH, QUARTER, or MINUTE). The value of the interval is being truncated to four characters.
There is currently no circumvention for this problem.
